I have a side business as a cake decorator. Did you know that? I'm guessing since really only Staci and my Mom read this blog, that the two of you do know that (and yes, I know there are a few others of you out there!)! I thought I'd share a few of the latest cakes that I've done. I should mention that I haven't edited these photos yet to get rid of my breakfast room in the background, but you can still see the cakes. To see more photos of cakes I've done you can visit the Sugar High Cakes website although I have to admit I haven't updated that in about a month of Sundays. I guess it's time for some website updating soon!!!

Terri, your cakes are spectacular!!!
THEY ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness, I would buy a cake from you in a heartbeat!! I've got to tell Happy Hour Sue about that Twilight cake, too!
Beautiful!!! I do cakes myself but am just starting out and need a lot of practice to be as good as you!!! Love the Twilight cake!!!
WOW! You have an amazing talent! I wish you didn't live so far away because shipping one of your cakes to Canada is out of the question. I'm glad I found your blog.
Wow love your cakes!!! You are very artistic!!
No way! How did you do the chess pieces and the apple????? That's amazing!
McMommy - really? A FAMOUS blogger commented on my blog???? How exciting. I feel very important now! =)
Thanks to all for the compliments. To answer questions about the Twilight cake - It was iced in black chocolate buttercream and then the checkerboard was added with white fondant. All of the other decorative pieces were hand formed from colored fondants. I made it sort of as a joke for my friend Caroline who is Twilight OBSESSED! I've never read the books so I wasn't 100% sure what anything I was doing meant, but apparently I got it right as she loved it!
Love the new cakes Terri. They are so creative (and hey, i read your blog all the time too!!!)
